Got Faith? (Monday)

In times of worry and dismay it can be challenging to not allow thoughts of fear and anxiety consume our spirits but we must keep the faith!

Faith is described as having confidence or trust in a person or thing. It’s a strong belief that is not based on proof.  It’s also defined as belief in God or the teachings of a religion or doctrine.

Lets be honest, at one time or another we have all been faced with situations that have caused us to feel doubt about pursuing our dreams, insecure in our relationships, concerned with our health and worried about money. Although it is normal to feel emotions when we’ve hit a wall or rock bottom, we must be strong and know that we can overcome anything with FAITH.

The bible says that having faith is being CERTAIN of what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1). It is having absolute belief that God is working in every single area of our lives even when there is no tangible evidence to support it. That ailment that is affecting your body, God is healing it! Those bills that keep coming in, the money is coming! That dream that you want to achieve is coming true! Know it, believe it, and turn that fear into faith!

Some ways to help you keep the faith are to:

  1. Spend quiet time in prayer or meditation

  2. Read the Bible or another source that will uplift you
  3. Remind yourself of all the other times where things have worked out for you
  4. Do something that scares you! Step out on faith!

Faith dissolves fear!

In (Matthew 17:20) Jesus told the disciples, “If you have faith as a grain of a mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, move from here to yonder and it will move, nothing is impossible for you.” It doesn’t matter what you are facing or conflicted with in your life. There is NOTHING that you cannot achieve. There is no problem too big for God!  So today as you go into the world KNOW that God is working for you! Believe in yourself!

Faith is like make up, a little goes a long way!
