[REVIEW] BRANDY “TWO ELEVEN”

After four years on a musical hiatus and a revamping of sound, Brandy Norwood has blessed us with the best once again. October 16th, Brandy releases her new album entitled “Two Eleven”.

The singers 6th studio album is definitely a refreshing sound and vibe coming back from the dismal sales of her 5th album “Human” in 2008. Brandy also tried a completely new persona when she debuted a new artist within herself named ‘Bran’Nu, a rapper. That didn’t really go over well with Brandy’s fans who were already used to the airy, raspy, cooing of the 33 year olds voice.

This album doesn’t do the new school techno dance stuff. “Two Eleven” stays true to the 90s kind of pop and r&b with a more mature sound from the female vocalist. With Brandy’s first single from the album, “Put it Down” ft. Chris Brown, she brought out a more grown up sound and you just can’t go wrong throwing bad boy Chris Brown in the mix. The second single from the album is called “Wildest Dreams which B just shot the video in LA for and invited fans to come support at a location they could get by email.

The “Two Eleven” title is actually Brandy’s birthday (February 11) and also the death anniversary of her friend and icon Whitney Houston.

We are glad to see this singer/actress doing her thing once again. Brandy is definitely putting it down.
